
The film "Renoir" was produced under an international co-production system involving six countries: Japan, France, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Qatar.
It also collaborated with domestic distribution companies and talent agencies, utilizing a production committee system. We had the opportunity to hear about the valuable behind-the-scenes aspects of its production.

We were able to hear about key points, benefits, and concerns to consider when collaborating with overseas production companies.
Furthermore, we heard about the impact of a team with diverse cultural backgrounds on the creative process, based on concrete experiences.
Particularly impressive was the scene where the producers from each country lined up and said, "Is there any reason not to participate in this project?"
We realized that their enthusiasm and strong trust are the driving force behind filmmaking that transcends national borders.
This opportunity provided a highly insightful case study for us as we consider the future of international co-productions.
