    映画監督・俳優Film Director and actor

    長野県出身。早稲田大学在学中に哲学・物語論を専攻。卒業制作として制作した映画『卒業』がイメージフォーラムフェスティバル 2010 優秀賞・観客賞受賞。
    友人の自死と向き合い制作した長編ドキュメンタリー映画『わたしたちに許された特別な時間の終わり』が山形国際ドキュメンタリー映画祭2013 で公開後、世界 12 カ国で公開。
    近作に東京国際映画祭で上映後、テアトル新宿を皮切りに劇場公開された映画『解放区』など。映画『現代版 城崎にて』でゆうばり国際ファンタスティック映画祭 2022 優秀芸術賞受賞。
    制作中の長編ドキュメンタリー『沼影市民プール』は、制作段階においてカルロヴィ・ヴァリ国際映画祭 2024にて日本企画としては初となる「First Cut+ Works in Progress Award」を受賞。同作は、Doc Edge（ニュージーランド）でワールドプレミア、釜山国際映画祭でのアジアプレミアを皮切りに劇場公開を控えている。

    Born in 1985, Nagano Prefecture. Ota graduated from Waseda University School of Humanities and Social Sciences, where he studied philosophy and narratology. “Graduation” received an award at Image Forum Festival 2010. His first full-length documentary film “The End of the Special Time We Were Allowed” (2013) was presented at Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival 2013 and shown in 12 countries around the world. His recent feature documentary “Numakage Public Pool” (2025) won the First Cut+ Works in Progress Award at Karlovy Vary International Film Festival 2024.He was selected for Talents Tokyo in 2013.

    2014 年に「分福」に所属し、是枝裕和監督の作品等で監督助手を務める。
    2018 年の第 23 回釜山国際映画祭「ASIAN PROJECT MARKET (APM)」で、アルテ国際賞(ARTE International Prize)を受賞。
    『マイスモールランド』（2022）で商業長編映画デビュー。本作でベルリン国際映画祭ジェネレーション部門招待。
    アムネスティ国際映画賞の特別表彰を受けた。

    After joining Bunbuku in 2014, Kawawada served as assistant director on films by director Hirokazu Kore-eda. She won the ARTE International Prize at the 23rd Busan International Film Festival's Asian Project Market (APM) in 2018. She made her commercial feature film debut with “My Small Land” (2022). This work was invited to the Generation category at the Berlin International Film Festival, among many other festivals. She also received a special commendation for it at the Amnesty International Film Awards.

    東京生まれ、5カ国で暮らす。短編監督作に『HANA』（韓国・日本／2018）、『SWALLOW／喰之女』（台湾・日本／2021）、『BORDER』（韓国・日本／2023）、『告解』（日本／2025）。短編集『LABYRINTHIA／ラビリンシア』が、テアトル新宿ほか全国の劇場で公開。釜山国際映画祭 Asian Film Academy、タレンツ・トーキョー、サンダンス・インスティテュート／NHK賞 2024年度推薦作家、トロント国際映画祭 TIFF Directors' Lab 2025 選出。現在、海外合作による初長編企画を準備中。

    Nakanishi is a Japanese director known for crafting female-driven, genre-defying narratives across Asia that push storytelling boundaries. Her shorts include HANA (2018), a supernatural horror shot in Korea; SWALLOW (2021), a body horror filmed in Taiwan; and BORDER (2023), a surreal home invasion thriller shot in Korea. In her latest short, CONFESSION (2025), she collaborated with pioneering female cinematographer Akiko Ashizawa, renowned for her longtime work with Kiyoshi Kurosawa. An alumna of the BIFF Asian Film Academy, Talents Tokyo, and the Sundance/NHK Script Lab, Nakanishi was also selected for the TIFF Directors’Lab 2025. Her short film collection was theatrically released this summer at six theatres across Japan. She's currently developing her debut feature.

    映画監督・脚本家Film Director and writer

    フィリピンのゴミの山と墓地で暮らす人々を描いた短編映画『GODOG』を発表後、ブランカとギター弾き（原題 BLANKA（伊）で長編映画監督デビューした。母親を買おうと奔走するストリートチルドレンを描いた本作は 2015 年ベネチア国際映画祭にてマジックランタン賞、ジャーナリストから贈られるソッリーゾ・ディベルソ賞をW受賞。日本では新藤兼人賞 金賞を受賞した。

    After releasing "GODOG, Luha Sa Desyerto (Tears of the Desert)" a short film that captures the story of people living in garbage piles and graveyards in the Philippines, Hasei made his feature-length directorial debut with "Blanka", a story about a child living on the streets who dreams of "buying" a mother. It won the Magic Lantern Award at the Venice Film Festival in 2015, along with the Sorriso Diverso award, granted by journalists. Hasei has received 20 awards at film festivals around the world including the Shindo Kaneto Award Gold Prize for new directors in Japan.

    北海道生まれ、映像作家・文化人類学者のたまご。東京大学大学院総合文化研究科博士課程在籍。高校時代をチリで過ごし、その後、沖縄の帰還移民についての研究を進める傍ら映像作品をつくり始める。当時住んでいたベトナムでのロックダウンの様子を描いた映画『Lock Up and Down』が2022年のぴあフィルムフェスティバルなどに入選。
    その後、プラハ芸術アカデミーにて学び、プラハのベトナム人コミュニティで手作りのオレンジジュースを売る夫婦の日々描いた『The Taste of Orange』が2023年にイフラヴァ国際ドキュメンタリー映画祭などで上映される。2024 年には福島県にて開催されたタル・ベーラ氏のワークショップに参加。浪江町のヘアサロンを舞台にした『Long Long Hair』が2024年の東京国際映画祭にて上映された。現在はチェコ共和国とチリを行き来しながら、東京大学で博士課程に在籍し、長編映画の企画を進めている。

    An anthropologist and filmmaker, she explores themes of migration and diaspora through her work. Her debut film “Lock Up and Down” (2022), shot during quarantine in Vietnam, was screened at the Pia and Nara Film Festivals. She directed “The Taste of Orange” (2023) in Prague, which was selected for Ji.hlava and other European festivals. In 2024, she participated in Béla Tarr’s workshop in Fukushima, where she created “Long Long Hair” (2024) in Namie. Currently based between the Czech Republic and Chile, she is developing a feature film while pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Tokyo.

    1995年、愛知県に生まれる。中学生の頃にハリウッド映画に憧れを抱き、渡米。その後、映像ディレクター兼シナリオライターとして活動を始める。映画『Funny』は2021年にTAMA NEW WAVEコンペティション部門入選し、2022年にはさらに香港国際短編映画祭入選、クレルモン＝フェラン国際映画祭Market Picks選出、ニッポン・コネクション正式招待、そしてリッチモンド国際映画祭にて最優秀女優賞＆観客賞を受賞。2023年、次作『Eatversity』はカナダのバンクーバーアジアン国際映画祭などに入選。同年製作された自身初のホラー映画『Rat Tat Tat』は2024年にオムニバス映画『NN4444』の一編として劇場公開され東京、大阪などで公開された。

    Born in Nagoya, Japan, and raised in Pennsylvania, he returned to Japan to attend Waseda University, where he began making films. In his second year, he won the Grand Prix and Audience Award at the 2015 Okinawa International Film Festival (Under 25 Category). After studying filmmaking at Florida State University, he worked in film distribution before becoming an independent director and writer. His short film "Funny" received multiple accolades, including Best Actress and Audience Award at Richmond International Film Festival and Market Picks at the Clermont-Ferrand International Film Festival.

    短編『ナイアガラ』が2014年カンヌ国際映画祭シネフォンダシオン部門入選、ぴあフィルムフェスティバルグランプリ受賞。22年『Plan 75』の監督・脚本を手がけ長編映画デビュー。同作はカンヌ国際映画祭「ある視点」部門に出品され、新人監督に贈られるカメラドールの特別表彰を受けた他、米アカデミー国際長編映画賞の日本代表作品に選出された。最新作『ルノワール』は、日本/フランス/シンガポール/フィリピン/インドネシアの国際共同製作作品で、カンヌ国際映画祭コンペティション部門に出品された。

    Born in Tokyo, she studied photography at School of Visual Arts in NewYork. Her short film “Plan 75” was the opening segment of anthology feature “Ten Years Japan” (2018) executive-produced by Hirokazu Kore-eda. The short was expanded into her feature film debut “Plan 75”, which was awarded the Camera d'Or Special Mention at Cannes Film Festival 2022 and selected as Japan's entry for the 2022 Oscar . Her second feature “Renoir” will be premiered in the competition at Cannes 2025.

    神奈川県逗子市在住の映像作家。アメリカ・ユタ州の大学で動物学を専攻し、人体解剖学や進化学を学ぶ。帰国後、TVディレクターとして「ちい散歩」、「シャキーン！」、NHKドキュメンタリーなど多数の番組制作に携わる。科学的な視点を背景に、人間を映像という装置で探究すべく自主制作を開始。短編映画『小太郎』が水戸短編映像祭に入選し、2011年にはndjc若手映像作家育成事業に参加。2021年、短編『かの山』がヴェネチア国際映画祭を含む国内外10以上の映画祭に正式出品され、高い評価を受ける。
    現在、初の長編作品の実現を目指しながら、「帰属」や「自意識」をテーマに実験映像やスチール作品も制作中。二児の母としての視点も作品に活かしている。

    Originally a zoology graduate and a lab assistant for human anatomy classes at Weber State University, Utah, she discovered filmmaking as a way to explore the complexities of human nature beyond the scientific lens. While working as a TV documentary director after returning to Japan, she started to produce short films of her own, and her fifth film, “Kanoyama” was premiered at the 78th Venice International Film Festival. Momi’s project has participated in Talents Tokyo (2021), Cinema at Sea, Industry Forum (2023), VIPO script lab(2024).

    木下麦多摩美術大学在籍時からイラストレーター/アニメーターとして活動。P.I.C.S.入社後、アニメーターや監督補佐としてCMやミュージックビデオなどの制作に関わる。2021年にTVアニメ「オッドタクシー」で自身初となる監督、キャラクターデザインを担当し、大きな話題となった。「ホウセンカ」で初めて長編映画を手掛ける。現在P.I.C.S. management所属。

(dir. Makoto Shinkai / reminiscence scene direction) and "In This Corner of the World" (dir. Sunao Katabuchi / special scene direction).　While working in various media such as book design, advertising, and commercials, he is also active as a Japanese-style painter in a wide range of fields, including painting, sculpture and moving image works.

    1995年、東京生まれ。立命館大学映像学部卒業。 2018年『21世紀の女の子』で公募枠に選ばれ『projection』を監督。 翌年には短篇映画『散歩する植物』がぴあフィルムフェスティバル2019に入選。23 年には『ぬいぐるみとしゃべる人は やさしい』で長編商業デビュー。同作は、数々の国内新人賞を受賞。第25 回上海国際映画祭アジア新人部門にも選出された。幽霊、石、植物など、非人間的なものをテー マに、映像作家だけでなく、劇作家、音楽作り、文筆家など幅広く活動中。

    Born in 1995, in Tokyo. Graduated from Ritsumeikan University. In 2018, she was selected from an open call for the omnibus film 21st Century Girl and directed The following year, her short film The Wandering Plants was selected for the Pia Film Festival.In 2023, she made her commercial feature debut with People Who Talk to Plushies Are Kind, w multiple domestic newcomer awards and was also selected for the Asian New Talent Award se Shanghai International Film Festival. Her work explores non-human themes such as ghosts, stones, In addition to filmmaking, she is also active as a playwright, musician, and writer.

    1985年生まれ、神奈川県出身。映画作家、脚本家。
    東海大学文学部文芸創作学科卒業、映画美学校12期フィクション・コース修了。
    2014年『螺旋銀河』で長編映画を初監督。長編監督２作目となる『王国（あるいはその家について）』（2018）はロッテルダム国際映画祭、山形国際ドキュメンタリー映画祭などで上映されたほか、英ガーディアン紙・英国映画協会〈BFI〉による年間ベスト作品に選出されている。

    Natsuka Kusano (1985, Japan) is a filmmaker, scriptwriter. She graduated from Tokai University, Department of Literature, and completed the 12th Fiction Course at the Film School of Tokyo.
    She directed her first feature film Antonym (2014). Her second feature film, Domains (2018), was screened at the International Film Festival Rotterdam and the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival, among others, and was voted best film of the year by the British Film Institute (BFI).

    1991年、横浜生まれ。
    メルボルンにあるSandringham Collegeを卒業後、東京造形大学映画専攻領域へ入学。在学中は諏訪敦彦ゼミに所属。卒業後5年程イベント制作会社社員として働きながら映画の自主制作を続ける。その後、東京芸術大学大学院映像研究科映画専攻監督領域に進学。2023年修了。
    2023年、自主製作映画『上飯田の話』を劇場公開。 同年、大学院の修了制作として監督した『移動する記憶装置展』がPFFアワード2023にて観客賞を受賞。 2025年、ndjc：若手映画作家育成プロジェクトにて『あて所に尋ねあたりません』を監督。
    プラムからできるラキヤを好む。

    Born in Yokohama in 1991. After graduating from Sandringham College in Melbourne, he studied film at Tokyo Zokei University. Following five years at an event production company while making independent films, he earned his MFA in Film Directing from Tokyo University of the Arts in 2023.
    His independent feature Kami-iida Stories(2023) was released theatrically. His graduation film Memory Devices won the Audience Award at PFF Award 2023. In 2025, he directed Addressee Unknown for ndjc: New Directions in Japanese Cinema.
    He enjoys plum rakija.

    1988年、大阪府生まれ。ビジュアルアーツ専門学校大阪で映画制作を学ぶ。在日ミャンマー人家族を描く初長編『僕の帰る場所』（2018年)が第30回東京国際映画祭アジアの未来部門 作品賞＆国際交流基金アジアセンター特別賞を受賞。2021年、ベトナム人技能実習生を描く長編第二作『海辺の彼女たち(日本ベトナム国際共同製作)』を公開。同作品はPFF第3回「大島渚賞」、2021年度「新藤兼人賞」金賞、第13回TAMA映画賞最優秀新進監督賞、第31回日本映画批評家大賞・新人監督賞などを受賞。ロヒンギャ難民を題材にした最新作『ロストランド』が第82回ベネチア国際映画祭オリゾンティ部門で審査員特別賞を受賞。2026年春全国公開。

    A filmmaker working across Asia. His debut “Passage of Life” (2017) won two awards in the Asian Future section at Tokyo IFF. His second film "Along the Sea“ (2020) premiered at San Sebastián IFF, and received the Oshima Prize and the Shindo Kaneto Gold Prize.His latest film, “LOST LAND”a drama centered on Rohingya refugees, won the Special Jury Prize in the Orizzonti section at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival.

    東京生まれ。慶應義塾大学総合政策学部を卒業後、株式会社 TBS スパークルにて映画プロデュースに携わる。『三島由紀夫 vs 東大全共闘 50年目の真実』(ギャガ)、『糸』(東宝)、『樹海村』(東映)などに参加。その後、東京藝術大学大学院映像研究科映画専攻プロデュース領域に入学とともにクラウドイレブンスタジオ株式会社を設立。日韓合作短編映画『国道 7 号線』、日韓合作長編映画『3 ミリの恋』（ともに全辰隆監督）、日本・台湾・ポーランド合作『Good Death』(舩橋淳監督)など、国際共同製作映画を製作中。『国道 7 号線』は釡山国際短編映画祭観客賞など、数多くの映画祭で入選・受賞。

    Born in Tokyo, he started his film production career at TBS Sparkle Inc., where he worked on various feature projects. In 2022, he co-founded Cloud11 Studios Inc. His recent works include the Japan-Korea co-productions Route 7 and 3mm Love (dir. Jinrung Chun), and the Japan-Taiwan-Poland co-production Good Death (dir. Atsushi Funahashi). Route 7 won the Audience Award at the Busan International Short Film Festival and was selected by Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Market Picks.
