The newly established "Film Frontier" section made its debut at the HKIFF Industry Project Market, held alongside Hong Kong FILMART.
For this inaugural edition, two projects have been selected: Unknown Face, directed by Natsuka Kusano and produced by Gohey Miyoshi, and the animation project HIDARI, directed by Masashi Kawamura, Iku Ogawa and produced by Noriko Matsumoto.
Over three days of one-on-one pitching sessions, both projects will seek co-production partners and funding opportunities.
